Yes, and yes, this restaurant made me a believer! Japan serves some of the BEST pizza and pasta and will give other countries a good run for the money. I sampled the pizza, pasta, and a few other dishes, none disappointed, and were hands down delicious. You may be a bit skeptical but try it....and thank me after your first bite, I won't hold it against you. Great selection of alcohol as well, you won't be disappointed!

Food and atmosphere are great. You will probably need a reservation even on a normal day since it's very popular but small. Atmosphere is kind of a mash of Italian things and Italian-American inspired things, though the food is definitely more Italian style than American (they have a legit stone oven) and tastes great.

Needed something different for dinner and pizza always sounds good. We found this awesome Italian bar that does napoleon style wood fired pizza and it didn't disappoint. If you're in shinjuku and want some pizza come check them out. Super small place but worth it.

Recommend to make a reservation ahead of time. The server was kind enough to provide us with a table at 5:30pm. The Margherita pizza & carbonara pasta was delicious. The restaurant/bar was small but they had a pizza oven which was amazing.

Bar with amazing Italian entrees. Hunting for tasty Italian food, I found Rize Mize. I was initially a little skeptical, expecting bar style Italian, but I was happily surprised by the offerings. The pizza oven was a dead giveaway that this place took the food side of the drinks and food menu seriously. It is mainly a bar, so at least one drink is mandatory, but while waiting for a pasta, there are few things better than low music playing, sports of some variety on the TV above the bar playing, and pleasant conversation with friends. I tried the pasta arrabbiata and the shrimp pesto, both were a step beyond. The arrabbiata had a level of 1-3 spiciness, and I chose 1, not wanting to overdo it, and it was perfect. The spiciness accented the al dente pasta, and the sauce was ample and flowing over every crevice of the penne noodles. The shrimp in the pesto was succulent and juicy with the perfect amount of seasoning, and the pesto was tangy and delicious. Wine added an extra dimension of flavor to the entire meal. If you like wine, cocktails, and pasta, try this restaurant/bar.

A must try place if you love Pizza. The place is a bit small so I recommend getting a reservation. We ordered the Wasabi Sea bream Pizza & Seafood Lasagna. It was so delicious. We especially loved the Pizza. The Tiramisu was good too. Would definitely revisit to try the other foods from their menu. Enjoyed our meal here.

This cozy Italian bar was conveniently located right near the apartment we stayed at during our time in Tokyo, so we ended up visiting quite often. We tried the Veggies Pizza, Pasta, and a variety of Mocktails. Everything was of good quality and tasted really good. The outdoor seating area was another highlight, offering a calm and silent street vibe that made the experience even more relaxing. A great spot for casual meals in the neighborhood.
